More Glifberg - Lykke projects in the melting pot
December 13, 2018
We are currently working on three new projects. HTC, Sylt Rollsportpark and Aktivitetspark Tarm.
World renowned architect studio COBE Architects, has hire Glifberg - Lykke to implement skateable functions in a urban planing project, in Høje Taastrup just outside of Copenhagen. This is potentially one of the most exciting projects in skate- and architectural history. We are extremely honoured to be included in such an important project, that could change the way we implement skateboarding into urban spaces, all over the world in the future.
Sylt is an island in Northern Germany, close to the border of Denmark. A new Multipark project is in the works, and we are very excited to have been chosen as the winning tenderer. The landscape of Sylt is unique and harsh, and already has a great surf community. We look forward to draw inspiration from the special climate and culture on the island.
We recently supplied Tarm Udviklingsforum with fundraising material for a small Multipark to be placed near the train station of this small western town in Denmark. The park is to include a 500 M2 skatepark among other youthful activities.

We're excited to announce our involvement in the new skatepark project on the Island of Jersey in the English channel. We've currently submitted initial concepts drawings for a new skatepark on the island, headed up by Jersey Sports. The island has been in need of a new and up to date skatepark.
The concept and the early stage visualisations and ideas was well received, and Jersey Sports is currently in the process of fundraising, to make this project a reality.

Oslo Skatehall Grand Opening
January 14, 2017
Glifberg-Lykke are proud to announce our latest project the Oslo Skatehall. This unique Skatehall is an example of how the skate functions can be in direct dialog with the architecture of the building.
It's amazing to see our vision for new ways to construct bowls and work with wood come true.
The idea has been on our drawing board for years, and a big shout out to Oslo Kultur Og Fritid and IOU Ramps for making this vision a reality.
The bowl is designed like we design concrete bowls. This means that its organic with a growing radius from the shallow to deep end.
This bowl could never been done without the brilliant carpentry skills of IOU-Ramps
The working title for this bowl was Thor's hammer and it seems like it's the right name for this bowl.
.
This is the first custom built skatehall in Norway and includes a unique floating bowl. We are proud to be able to nurture future Norwegian skate talents by giving them a skatehall that can be used by beginners and professionals alike.
